Its flowers, appearing during November, are reported to be very attractive, pink in colour with a creamy white middle. Its pods are greenish brown and velvety. The seeds are ripe from September onwards. They germinate easily without any treatment, when freshly sown in October (germination rate of 96% was noted in the nursery of the Forestry Research Station in 1996). The tree however grows very slowly.";
