The leaf margins are slightly toothed. The flowers appear from October onwards in terminal clusters; they have an irregular shape with long stamens and are conspicuously purple-blue in colour. The green flower buds are ball-shaped. Fruits have not been observed by the authors and could not be described by informants.";

Then the patient is ready for the second step of the treatment that will give her/him back fertility. A decoction of another plant's roots called &quot;masiva&quot; in Vasekele is prepared by the traditional healer and drunk by the patient who is then supposed to be fertile after one week.";
